Members of the Society are required to pay a subscription to become a member. They are then able to attend outings and receive a subsidy from NESLC, considerably reducing the amount required to be paid on the day of the outing.

Subsidies for events

 

Subsidies are normally granted for outings that are not "Opens". A subsidy at an outing will not be granted to anyone until their subscription is paid. Members are advised prior to an event of what the payment to attend the event will be.

 

Subscriptions and Event payments

 

Subscriptions and payment for events should be paid via online banking wherever possible. This is the preferred method of paying both for annual society subscriptions and payment for events on the day.

The current annual subscription to be a member of the society is £20.01 per person per annum and must be paid before the first outing to the Treasurer.

Cheques

Because of the difficulty of paying in cheques to the Society bank account, payment for events by cheque is discouraged. If a cheque is used by any member it should be noted that there may be a delay of a number of weeks before the cheque can be cashed.

Your full name followed by "subs 2018" or your full name followed by the event
name (eg Foxton Hall)

2 - Sort code and bank details:
(new from Jan 2019)
