Half day events (18 holes)

Half day events will be either an 18 hole 4BBB stableford pairs competition (March outing only) or an 18 hole singles Stableford competition.

Jubilee Salver (pairs competition)

The first event of the season will be a pairs competition. Partners for this will be chosen at random by the competition secretary after the closing date for entries.

Full day events (27 holes)

Full day events will be a 9 hole competition, with various different formats throughout the season in the morning, followed by an 18 hole singles Stableford competition for the main trophy.

 

Order of Merit

Order of Merit points will be awarded for results at all outings except the Jubilee Salver (March pairs event) and the Kick and Chuck trophy (November event).


Points will be awarded for first to ninth, with 10 points for first, 8 for second, 7 for third, down to 1 point for ninth place. The overall winner of the Order of Merit will be the player who has won the most points. The final result will be calculated at the end of the season with scores taken from the best four outings for any player.

Optional Sweep
An optional sweep of £1.00 per person will be in operation for the each competition (am & pm) of the day. A list will be displayed in the clubhouse before play. You should sign your name and pay your money to a committee member before play. 

Nearest the pin
A prize will be awarded for Nearest the Pin as follows:
- nearest to the pin in one on one par 3 hole

- nearest to the pin in two on one par 4 hole

Knockout matchplay competition

A knockout matchplay competition will take place each season. Matches normally taking place at the "home" competitor's course, with the green fee for the away player being split between the two competitors.
